Canine Nosework Workshop

This workshop is designed to provide opportunities for the handlers and their dogs to sharpen their skills. Handlers will learn how to support their dog while maintaining the dog's search independence, as well as reinforce clean start line practices. The first hour will focus on learning the skills to work out accessible vs inaccessible hides. The remaining time will be given to exterior search strategies. (If the weather is inclement we'll work on skills for successful interior searches.) Both lessons will include reinforcing foundational searching skills.  It will be an enriching yet rewarding time learning with your dog.

Prerequisites:  Dogs must be on target odors of birch, anise and clove.
