Michelle has titled dogs in Trick dog, FitDog, Canine Good Citizen, CPE, AKC & NACSW scentwork. Her black labrador is a therapy dog that enjoys visiting a local organization for at-risk children. What she loves most of all is camping & hiking all over the country with her husband and dogs.

This workshop is designed to provide opportunities for the handlers and their dogs to sharpen their skills. Handlers will learn how to support their dog while maintaining the dog's search independence, as well as reinforce clean start line practices. The first hour will focus on learning the skills to work out accessible vs inaccessible hides. The remaining time will be given to exterior search strategies. (If the weather is inclement we'll work on skills for successful interior searches.) Both lessons will include reinforcing foundational searching skills.  It will be an enriching yet rewarding time learning with your dog.
