| This class builds on the skills developed in Puppy Control Unleashed. Focus will be on continuing to practice being calm in the face of exciting or scary situations, polite greetings, stationing, and moving through a distracting environment. All dogs will have their own working stations. Recommended course book- Control Unleashed: Reactive to Relaxed
Who is this class for? This class is great for over-excited pups, shy pups, or as a preventive tool for reactivity.
Puppies up to 1 year old (other ages accepted based on availability in class and instructor approval). Previous enrollment in a Control Unleashed course or a basic puppy class is preferred.
Please bring your dog on a harness with a standard 6 ft leash, plenty of really yummy treats (cheese, chicken, hot dogs, or similar). Prong, slip, choke, vibration, or shock collars not permitted. Bring an inexpensive, portable mat and the book Reactive to Relaxed by Leslie McDevitt. (For dogs 6 month- 1 year - other ages accepted based on availability in class and instructor approval). Thursdays 7:30-8:15 p.m. Eight weeks: 1/8-2/26 ATTENTION: All students must fill out a training survey. Please provide proof of vaccinations on or before the first night of class.
