In this course, we will build the foundations for great communication between you and your puppy. Understand the world from your dog's point of view while teaching her the basic skills needed to be a successful family member.

For puppies 12 weeks to 6 Months

Mondays 7:30-8:30 pm. Eight weeks: 9/8-10/27

Get your new puppy off to the best start with some basic skills and cues such as sit, down, default stay, and loose leash walking. Learn why it is critical to socialize your puppy and the right way to do it. Topics to be discussed will include puppy behaviors, house breaking, coming when called, and crate training. Puppies with age-appropriate vaccines under the age of 6 months are welcome.

Required equipment:  Flat buckle collar with a 6 ft leash, treat pouch, and lots of high value treats like hotdogs, chicken breast, cheese.  No e-collars, prong collars, no retractable or slip leads will be permitted in

This course uses scientifically proven clicker training and free shaping to teach your dog all the basics plus other fun, useful behaviors. You'll learn how to become a benevolent leader to manage and prevent unwanted behaviors, all while building a bond of trust and respect with your dog.

This is an especially great class for:

• First-time dog owners
• Owners of newly adopted shelter or rescue dogs
• Dogs with little to no formal training before
